GRANT #16 | ABIGAIL | PEDIATRIC BRAIN CANCER WARRIOR

On May 21, 2020 the KW crew drove out and took part in a welcome home parade for a little girl named Abigail. Most of us have seen drive-by parades for multiple occasions due to the current situation we are dealing with, but Abigail had well over 100 vehicles participate to welcome her home, which is rather impressive.

This is the third time Abigail has fought brain cancer and she has spent just over two months in the hospital recovering from her last surgery. Imagine for a moment how much this family is going through on a daily basis and how much Abigail has gone through in the short amount of time she's been on this earth. She has endured more than most and her courage and spirit are inspiring to so many people.

We felt deeply about trying to help this family as much as we could, and so, Abigail became the 16th grant recipient in just over the year we've been at this.

We told her she might need a bigger piggy bank.
