SUPPORTING CANCER SURVIVORS & THEIR FAMILIES

Kittie's Warriors is a non-profit group that is dedicated to helping cancer survivors and their families on an individual level. Large amounts of money is dedicated to cancer research every year, and while we hope, pray and believe that one day there will be a cure; we know the burden cancer brings to the life of a survivor and we know there is a need for individual support.

Kittieā€™s Warriors raises funds through donations as well as the sale of handmade crafts that bring awareness to ALL types of cancers and allows others to show their support in the process. All proceeds go directly into the fund so that we may assist survivors in ways meant to lift burdens and also promote happiness during what can quite possibly be the most trying time of ones life. We work closely with social workers and counselors at local hospitals to determine who is in most need of assistance.

No one in our group or within the foundation is reimbursed for their time or involvement. Everyone volunteers, meaning our impact within the community is greater.

About the Mr. Davids Foundation

Founded in 2015, the Mr. Davids Foundation fills the gaps within our communities, providing awareness of critical community needs and providing financial support to organizations, individuals, and initiatives that help improve our neighborhoods and empower the people within it.  The Mr. Davids Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that Kittie's Warriors is proud to be part of.

This year, on August 25th, the foundation will be hosting their annual Mr. Davids Challenge.  The Challenge consists of a 29K bike ride and a 5K run/walk and the proceeds from the event go directly to initiatives and organizations that the foundation supports.
