GRANT #14 | SHANICA | BREAST CANCER WARRIOR

On March 6, 2020, Kittie’s Warriors met with Shanica at the infusion center in Warrenville to present her with a grant to ease some of the financial burden that followed her cancer diagnosis. Shanica is a breast cancer warrior who has undergone surgery, chemotherapy and radiation.

Shanica is a single mother of two young boys who has been struggling to work her full time job as a postal worker due to the side effects from her treatment. Shanica, as are all of our other patients, is such an inspiration to us.

KWF was happy to be able to help Shanica by awarding her a grant to help pay her day to day bills. To our supporters, donors and sponsors, thank you for allowing us to make this grant possible for Shanica.
