Zizzo puts some nitro into the Mr. Davids Foundation, launching it to the next level for their 10th Anniversary

Zizzo puts some nitro into the Mr. Davids Foundation, launching it to the next level for their 10th Anniversary JOLIET, IL (June 3, 2018) -- TJ Zizzo and Zizzo Racing spent the weekend competing for the top spot on the podium at the JEGS Route 66 NHRA Nationals, sending the Rust-Oleum dragster down the track at 326 MPH in 3.77 seconds. While race fans stood behind the rope looking on as the team worked to get the car ready to compete, something was unfolding quietly behind the scenes. Just a day before the Rust-Oleum car made its first run down the track, TJ Zizzo accepted the Mr. Davids Foundation and Kittie’s Warriors as sponsors, displaying the logos of both on his car. This came as a surprise to everyone except for Brian Schmidt, President of the Mr. Davids Foundation, who worked in conjunction with TJ to get this sponsorship to happen. The unveiling of the sponsorship was a special moment to Kristina Russell and Sherri McKinney. Both are Mr. Davids Employees, cancer survivors and founders of Kittie’s Warriors, a group within the Mr. Davids Foundation that focuses on supporting cancer patients and their families by raising funds through donations and sales. The Mr. Davids Foundation holds its 10th Anniversary Challenge on August 25th in Itasca and has raised over $650,000 for its community partners since 2009. A CAR WITH MANY MEMORIES

If you know our family, you know we are car enthusiasts, and it started with Kittie and Rich.  There's not much we need to say about this video other than you don't have to be a car person to enjoy this story, it's much more than just steel and rubber.
